Last Day of School

Today is both of the boys' last day of school! Sutton is a little sad because he loves school and loves seeing his friends every day. Ren is very happy because he always just wants to stay home with Mommy.

                         

Of course I had to pull out the first day of school photos to do a comparison. Their hair got shorter, Sutton's teeth got bigger, and they look just a little older and wiser.

Luckily Daddy was home to help me get a real smile out of them. It's a tough job!

Sutton will not be returning to Maize next year, which is where he's always gone. He'll be starting at a new school next year which he's having a hard time with. But we know it will be great! He's so good at making friends and I'm sure he'll love his new teachers.

The reason Sutton won't go to Maize any more is because we don't live in the district, and Adam has resigned his teaching job there as of this year. He is going full time with his video business. We are excited and scared at the same time! I made Daddy jump in a few photos since this is his last day of school too (possibly ever!).

Ren's Preschool Program

Ren had his very first program ever yesterday, for his preschool. The theme was down on the farm, so I dressed him in (too-short) overalls and it was super cute. I took way too many photos and videos, all of his cute little face, so I tried to condense them into collages here.

He got told hold up a sign during one of the songs.

And here are a couple of videos! I took a bunch, but I'll just share the two that were funny. This first one he has crazy mouth movements going on lol.

And this second one was the last song of the program...I guess he was getting tired, haha!!

Afterwards, they had a few little treats in their classroom. I took that opportunity to get a photo with his teacher this year, Ms. Crystal!
