To the Farm

A couple of weeks ago, Adam's brother Matt and his girlfriend Shay had a baby! We're so excited about our new nephew. Since Adam was on Spring break, we packed up our brood and drove the 5 hours to meet him and see the farm where they live.

The second morning we were there, our boys got us up early while the others were still sleeping, so we made a trip to the nearest town for coffee and juice, drove around and enjoyed the quiet morning scenery, and even took Ren across the Kansas/Nebraska border for the first time.

After we got back to the farm, we took the boys out to see the animals there.

The cows were so funny. They saw us and Sutton spooked them off at one point, but if we stood still, they all slowly came closer and closer.

This brown and white one was the extrovert of the group. He led everyone up to us, and came and stuck his nose through the fence to try to get a better look at us.

I reached out to pet him, and he licked me!!
