Sutton's Last Day As An Only Child

I took a lot of photos on February 18th, which was Sutton's last day of being an only child. I wanted to document our "normal" before Ren got here and changed it. :)

Sutton has developed a habit of coming and climbing into our bed when he wakes up and asking to watch a movie. I'm fine with this since it gives me a few extra minutes to rest before I have to drag myself out of bed.

Then it was bath time. Usually this happens at night, but our evenings were super full just before Ren's arrival, so this time Sutton got a morning bath.

Breakfast! Chocolate chip oatmeal muffins. Yum.

Had to take a photo with the countdown to baby calendar all crossed off!

Then it was time to play superheroes.

But even superheroes need to brush their teeth.

One of his last times riding in the car alone.

We went to Storytime at the library. It was really sweet…after Ms. Eva blew the train whistle to signal for the kids to get in line, Sutton got in line, then saw me and ran over and gave me a hug before running back to his spot in line.

On the way home, we stopped for Sonic slushies. Sutton calls them slooshies. :)

Lunch time!

Before nap, we watched a little bit of a movie in my bed to wind down.

His favorite toy as of late. Captain America is his favorite superhero. Had to be Captain America a little bit before we left to go meet Daddy for dinner.

Last dinner together as a family of three.

Daddy got Sutton an Avengers poster for his bedroom that has Captain America on it. He was pretty excited.

After Chili's we went to Target to pick out Ren's gift, and this was what Sutton chose. He was pretty proud of it.
