RiverFest

Adam and I aren't big on going to the RiverFest, but we generally go once each year for one thing: chicken-on-a-stick. It's SO good. Wednesday night was rainy, but it cleared up for a bit and it was our only free evening, so we headed downtown to partake in the festivities.

First things first: I've always been intrigued by this street's name. And the fact that the sign is located in the middle of the road, not at an intersection. Anyone know what the deal is?

Next we got our chicken. Yum yum.

Then Adam discovered that another booth had steak-on-a-stick. Of course, he had to have it.

At the steak booth, we discovered the rumored chocolate covered bacon. Which also had to be tried. The sauce in the photo is A1, for the steak, not the bacon.

Lastly, we had some Dippin Dots. As soon as we got them, it started getting really cold and the sky got dark, so we started heading back to the car. Right when we got to the car, it started raining a lot. So we only ended up being there for about 20 or 30 minutes, but we got what we needed. :)
